‘What Matters Is Unique Ideas Of MSMEs,’ Says Amazon’s Manish Tiwary

Indian MSMEs: Another Year Of Delayed Payments, Debt And Stress

‘What matters is the unique ideas of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and we are here to support you, said Manish Tiwary, Country Manager, India Consumer Business, Amazon India.

While speaking at the India SME Forum event, Tiwary stressed that the most important thing for any business owner is to focus on the customer. He added, “Their reviews and feedback can either make or break your brand.”

Tiwary underscored the pivotal role of ecommerce as an engine for digital transformation, driven by factors such as India’s burgeoning economy, increased internet penetration and rapid advancements in digital payment methods.

The Country Manager elaborated on Amazon’s journey in India over the last ten years which has played a key role in the growth of India’s ecommerce sector and given a boost to entrepreneurship, particularly in tier two and tier three cities.

He discussed the various tools and programs available to assist sellers, enabling them to optimise their supply chains, maximise profitability, and execute seamless operations even in peak sale seasons.

He stated, “These encompass Amazon’s self-service registration 2.0, the sale event planner, and multi-channel fulfilment services.”
