Pee Safe Revives Podcast on Women’s Social Pressures

New season of Pee Room Conversations explores the pressure on women to stay “likeable” across workplaces and personal spaces

Personal hygiene brand Pee Safe has revived its podcast series Pee Room Conversations with a new format titled “Unmute with Pee Safe,” aimed at encouraging discussions around social pressures faced by women.

The fourth season of the podcast opens with an episode titled “The Pressure to Be Likeable,” which examines how women often adapt their tone, opinions and ambitions to meet expectations in professional and personal settings. The discussion highlights how the need to appear agreeable can affect decision-making, confidence and self-expression.

The company said the concept of “unmuting” is intended to encourage women to express their views more openly and challenge societal expectations.

Founder Vikas Bagaria said the initiative aims to create a platform for candid discussions on issues affecting women. He said the series seeks to encourage women to speak freely and express themselves without feeling compelled to limit their voice.

Experts Share Perspectives
The episode features a panel of professionals and creators, including Ankita, director and category head for fem care and grooming at Blinkit; Aarushi Lohani, dentist and influencer Dr Garima; child nutritionist and blogger Tanya Mehra, and Srishti Jain.

Participants discussed how expectations around being “likeable” can influence career decisions and personal choices, while also sharing perspectives on building confidence and maintaining authenticity.

Pee Safe said the podcast initiative forms part of its broader effort to engage with women on issues beyond hygiene products and promote conversations around empowerment and self-expression.
