Company targets a stronger international presence and sharper strategic execution under a revamped top deck
Yatra Online has reshuffled its top leadership, appointing co-founder Dhruv Shringi as executive chairman while naming Siddhartha Gupta the new chief executive officer, the company said in a stock exchange filing on 25 November.
Shringi, who has led the travel services platform since its launch, will now focus on steering the company’s long-term global strategy, innovation roadmap, and shareholder value. He will work closely with the board and senior leadership as Yatra looks to strengthen its B2B-first approach and explore international growth opportunities.
Calling the transition “the right leadership at the right time,” Shringi said Yatra is positioned to scale faster with Gupta’s experience in enterprise sales and SaaS-led business models.
Gupta joins Yatra with more than 25 years of experience in enterprise technology and B2B SaaS across India and overseas. His previous roles include senior leadership positions at SAP, HP, and several high-growth software ventures. The company said his expertise in digital transformation and customer-centric growth makes him well-suited to drive Yatra’s next phase of expansion.
Gupta said he aims to accelerate Yatra’s growth, upgrade its technology stack, and widen its service offerings. “Together, we will scale Yatra to new heights, strengthen our international presence, and continue setting benchmarks in managed business travel,” he said.
Yatra has been strengthening its corporate travel business, adding 148 new enterprise clients in the past year. These accounts represent an annual potential business of over Rs 700 crore, according to the company’s release.
