McDonald’s India – North and East is celebrating International Burger Day with a range of app-exclusive offers, spotlighting some of its most iconic burgers that have become favourites across generations of Indian consumers.
Long before burgers became a mainstream fast-food choice in India, McDonald’s played a pivotal role in introducing the category to millions of customers, making burgers affordable, accessible and widely loved. From after-school snacks and college outings to family meals and late-night cravings, the brand says its burgers have remained a part of everyday food culture for decades.
To mark the occasion, McDonald’s India – North and East is highlighting crowd favourites such as the McVeggie and McChicken burgers, which continue to enjoy strong popularity among consumers.
As part of the celebrations, customers can avail themselves of special offers exclusively through the McDonald’s app. The deals include two McVeggie Burgers for Rs 159, a buy-two-get-one-free offer on Veg Surprise Burgers, and a similar buy-two-get-one-free deal on McVeggie and McChicken burgers.
The company said the campaign aims to celebrate the nostalgia and emotional connection associated with its burgers while encouraging customers to create new memories around the brand’s signature offerings.
International Burger Day is observed annually on 28 May and is widely used by quick-service restaurant brands to engage consumers through special promotions and limited-time offers.
