Domino’s Pizza, which is run in India by Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (JFL), has joined the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) network, the food services firm said on Tuesday.
Domino’s catalogues will now be visible on numerous applications throughout the network, allowing for smooth purchases, the company said.
Customers in the Delhi NCR may already purchase Domino’s Pizza through the ONDC, and more cities will follow soon, according to the statement.
“This will enable Domino’s to expand its customer base by making its products available to buyers from all ONDC seller apps based on geographical proximity, promotions or through product or brand search,” JFL said.Sameer Khetarpal, managing director at JFL said the partnership with the ONDC Network is a “significant milestone and step forward” for Domino’s.
T Koshy, managing director at ONDC said Domino’s joining ONDC “is a significant development with the potential to create ripple effects for the foods and beverages category on Open Network.
Last month, Domino’s Pizza said that it was starting a new campaign with a new message geared at younger consumers and millennials, which included new boxes, refurbished storefronts, delivery staff attire and new bikes and boxes for the delivery fleet.
